This ready-made flatbread with goat cheese, prosciutto, fresh figs and fresh arugula topped with a balsamic glaze will have you drooling for another piece!
Fresh Figs
If you aren’t lucky enough to have a fig tree in your yard (or a generous friend with a fig tree), go to your local produce stand and pick up a few pound this summer while they’re still in season! Fresh figs bring the perfect balance to this flatbread recipe! The key to buying figs is to find them when they are ripe (but not too overripe) and eat them with in a day or two and they will be perfect!
Naan style flatbread
Naan makes the perfect crust for this type of flatbread. It heats up perfectly in the oven and doesn’t get too crispy or soggy with all the ingredients on top. I usually get mine from trader joes but I have seen them in local grocery stores as well!
